My precious Bunnie who was due to have babies very soon, had a miscarriage. Thank God she is ok though. Those of you who do not have precious fur babies may not understand, but I am so sad. On top of that, we have a family of 4 kittens and a mama who took up residence in our backyard. We have enjoyed watching them out our back sliding glass doors. I had noticed that the tiny orange one seemed a bit slower than the others and maybe had one of those little kitty eye infections, you know, how they sometimes get....I tried to get close to him many times but being a wild kitty, they always run away and are so fearful...well anyway, the day Bunnie had her miscarriage, my husband found the tiny orange one passed away out on our patio. He took his tiny body and buried it for us. My daughter is such an animal lover and was looking forward to Bunnie's impending delivery. I told her yesterday at dinner how sad I was about what happened. She told me, Mom, I am not sad, it's nature's way. She is right. Bunnie seems fine now after a night of confusion and pain I'm sure. And that's what matters. Pets, they're like your fur-kids...and they break your heart. And rest in peace tiny orange baby, we will miss you.
